Im with you on this one. He has been awfully quite this year, he certainly has the connection to people in high places, his father hasnt chimed in because he wouldn't indict his son and most importantly, we all know of the sneakyness that runs in his blood.

i cant....cuse i dont have access to Chief Delphi's server(s).
But you could use a flagging program to flag any posts by Looking Forward, then add a IP tracking script onto the web site server(s), and then whenever the post was submitted, you could check and see which IP addresses were accessing the site at the time. But since Chief Delphi recieves an large amount of traffic, you would probably have multiple IP's recorded.
SOOO
you would have to wait for like three or four posts by Looking Forward, then cross-reference the results. Then you could use http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation
to check the locatiopn of Said IP address.
then you could use yellowpages to find out who owns said address.

That service is horrendously inaccurate. It claims my IP to be in Waterloo,ON,Canada, (home of our Waterloo Regional) and I live in Whitby, ON nearly 2.5 hours away

Why couldn't LF be a she? So stereotypical... 'childishly pouts'

In any case, I agree with the group post idea. It sounds as if all the predictions are discussed, compiled and then typed and sent by the one leader. So what we know: This person has another account on Chief Delphi. This person has much experience, with FRC at least. This person has vast amounts of free time or a vast sleep debt... Cory says this person has been named. He's been as talkative as usual, but that might take into account sleep debt. Cory- ARE YOU INVOLVED?! 'looks suspiciously'

If Looking Forward is reading this, I'm looking forward (pun intended) to the Week 3 predictions since it's the first week of regionals my team is competing in... (Hartford)

Oh where art thou, LF? :)

haha Greg, you got to have something better to do with your time. Don't you have a battlebot to design and build?

I don't know who it is but I can say with reasonable certainty that there is a strong influence from the Boston area. There are a lot of young dedicated FIRSTers up there who have ties all over the country.

Re: Looking Forward's real identiy

It could be me. I have been cutting back on the build season lately due to becoming a mentor. I am known to be able to find most anything out on the net. I am a strategist if I wish to. The only problem? I am a bit lazy at such things. So, anyone think I might be LF? If not, send me a PM as to why. You might be surprised with your response.;)

I've always wondered about those!

Every VB forum has at the very least a Moderator's forum - and it is trivial to add more that are visible to only certain users.

And it goes without saying that the admins (and possibly some moderators) can see the full user profile, and easily determine a user's identity (or at least an e-mail and a few IP addresses). Brandon knows who it is, but I'd be surprised if he'd spoil the fun by saying who.

Perhaps. The Moderators' forum is better left to business, and predictions are better handled offline or e-mail-wise

In fact, several people know this person's* identity, but I beseech them all, maintain your vows of secrecy! (It's more fun this way)

Don
