Re: Name change

We haven't changed our name(Dynamos) even though GE Power Systems is not one of our sponsors anymore. We decided to keep the name Dynamos and or pig logo, becuase it is our team brand, and how other teams identify us.
I would suggest you keep T-Rx even though you are losing your main sponsor.

Good luck with your decision

It occurs to me that you have a memorable name and distinctive look -- why not just rebrand yourselves as "T-Rex" and stick with the dinosaur thing? I bet hardly anyone would even notice, and they'd still say it correctly.

Incidentally, we also changed our team name from "Celetor" which had little meaning to our team or school, to "SeaLu Robotics". We thought "Celetor" sounded like a medicine. "SeaLu" is our school's nickname and "Robotics" identified what the team does for outsiders.

This year, we named our robot, "T-Wrecks".
It is also pronounced the same as your team name.
You are welcome to pick it up.
