It takes some time to set up but it really is worth it because we can find anything we need and everything has it's place. We continually strive to improve all aspects of the team, robot, and the pit. We have team members that clean up and put things away when the robot is not in the pit. There is constant care put into making sure the PIT is as spotless as we can make it. A clean pit is a safe pit. Continual improvement is key. This is an old photo from St. Louis. Is there one from Milwaukee?

Great job, I've always envied the FRC pits wishing FTC teams had more than just a little table for their pit :yikes:

Are your students or mentors properly trained to use the Fire extinguisher?

Yes, we are all trained. The safety captain gives demos throughout the year on things like MSDS, PPE, Fire extinguisher, 5s, battery safety and so on. 2 weeks before competition, they are tested on them.

What are the hardhats for though?

Our drivers wear them. They wear the hard hats and gloves. The hats are more to distinguish them.
