D'espairsRay was my favorite, though.

I like all those bands, but I love both MUCC and +DéspairsRay+ especially. (Did they change the way their band name is written again? I give up on keeping up.) I had no idea they were playing in Chicago, otherwise I would have stayed up there when my team went to Midwest or something. =P

It's been a while since I've listened to Japanese Metal, but a few I can think of off the top of my head are:

- Dir en grey (They have two albums in the US, conveniently enough.)
- MUCC
- +DéspairsRay+ (written also as D'espairsRay)
- X-JAPAN (If you want 80's-early 90's metal... sorta-ish.)
- Sex Machineguns
- Onmyouza (written also as Onmyo-za and Onmyoza)
- Head Phones President

They are only good if you like Japanese music. I know people who love metal and dont like Japanese music and they say Dir En Grey sucks. Also not all of their songs are Metal.

How many of you are going to Atlanta?

Kemata, amazing music list. I never really looked into Japanese metal, and they are all great bands! Too bad my HDD is almost full, only 2 GB left >_>

D'espairsRay is 110X better, IMHO. But they're both good.
