Thanks to the efforts of GVSU the West Michigan Regional will be web cast. As soon as we get information on the link we will post it on the West Michigan Web site. Check the website later thursday for the link.

Uhg, figures the year we DON'T go to West Michigan it gets webcast. :(

I swear there hasn't been a regional event that my team has ever been at that I've ever been able to see official videos of afterwards (aside from Nationals of course).


By the way, any chance of getting match archives from last year? I emailed the addresses given on the site several times but never got a response on the matter. I would really like to get some footage of last year as all of our teams videos for WMR got stolen with a backpack while we were at Nationals. :(

Since I have college classes this week, I couldn't go! (Yeah, college is important. But sometimes it interferes with my love of FIRST...;) )

The link currently on the regional website isn't correct.
The correct link to view the WMR webcast is: http://live.upstreamnetworks.com/16510-39771

This link will trigger open Windows Media Player to open and play the stream by clicking on it or you can copy the link and paste it into your Windows Media compatible player of choice.

Is anybody else experiencing a problem with the webcast?
In the middle of the third or fourth match, my Windows Media Player stopped playing. I thought if I closed out the player and re-opened the link from CD, I'd be okay. However, now it says that it cannot connect to the server.

I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

I'm having the same problem myself, actually. I tried the same few things (and put it in a different browser as well), and no luck.
