Help

I know that at Regionals there is a box when you can plug in a camcorder or any video recording device, into a special box they have, I remember a while ago I found a page on the FIRST website about this box with a picture and all the details about the box, but I cannot find it anymore. Does anyone happen to have a link to this page?

Is there any more info you know about it? Such as what it does exactly?

If you search for "video recording" I am sure you will find a variety of threads on the subject. I believe that the A/V contractor is required to provide video and audio outputs for teams who wish to record the feed to the big screen and arena PA. These devices normally provide RCA jacks for both video and audio although you might also find video provided via BNC jacks. If you wish to record using a camcorder, you will need the adapter cable that allows external video and audio to be recorded. There should also be a power drop provided as well. It would be good for you to purchase adapters that would allow you to connect to either of the connectors metnioned from the connector provided on your device.

It's the box that teams can plug camcorders or digital video recorders to record the matches as show on the projector, like what you see on TBA and Soap108. There was a page on FIRST's website with specs on the box, such as the ports to connect your recording device.
