Well i don't remember 451 that much.. but if CIA (291) auton works better (by means after getting the ball and getting only 1 line) by gett maybe 3 lines, and with our improvemnets (Spolier Maybe) i think we could run away with this.. (total dream; but i love daydreaming about winning GLR). Pittsbugh Teams also include 63 and 1189

holy cow Minnesota is young! they have 9 out of 54 teams with numbers under 2000.

Watch out for 93 and 2169 pairing up like they did in Wisconsin where they were finalists.

Speaking of Hybrid mode Team RUSH 27 is collecting IR boards for the championship. If you aren't using your board or its not working we will gladly take it and repair it for another teams use. Please ask for the Advanced Electronics team at the Great Lakes Regional if you have any questions.

Quite literally, given the absence of Delphi E.L.I.T.E. At least for this year. ;)

I am pretty glad to see that we were mentioned. 1114, Good luck in winning the regional, I am sure you will.

I am surprised that they failed to mention team 876 for the Minnesota regional. They were on the winning alliance with team 1024 at the boilermaker regional. Team 1816 (Edina) should probably also be mentioned as they made the semifinals in Wisconsin and they are consistent contenders. I would also be willing to bet that this may be one of the funnest regionals because of the massive number of rookie teams. I hope to see some huge decibel levels in Williams arena. On a side note I also invite all rookie teams to come see our (2232's) pit, it will be hard to miss as we are sporting large Greek columns.

I'm surprised to see that 230 wasn't mentioned for Bayou. They had an incredible hurdling robot, and at the Connecticut Regional they seeded third, were on the second seed alliance, and were the regional finalists. I'm confident they'll be a big player at the Bayou Regional, as well.

Why isn't 103 already going to Atlanta? =/ I would really love to see them there because of how much they would raise the intensity of the competition and I think they could help take the gold in their division.

Well, I hope team 103 changes its mind.

That's an awesome idea btw. I'm sure they will come in handy. :)

Well, 1676 has made it safely to Toronto, and we're psyched. Competition will be tough, and we're not as confident as LF as far as getting onto an alliance...but not for lack of effort.

We'll see how it goes tomorrow. Happy to be here

Don

hrmmm im not one to post in this normally but it seems that our Looking Forward has underestimated 870.

Quote:

ven though 383 did most of the scoring for their alliance in Connecticut, 870 still captained an alliance into the Semi-finals. I don't know if they'll be as successful here, but in a much more forgiving field they should be able to pick up some wins.
One must be reminded that 870 has won the event from 2001 - 2003 then 2005 - 2007. And the teams that beat them in 2004 and 2007? well 2004's make up was 311-1114-229, and the 2007 make up was 229-234-545.

Do i see something interesting here??? hrmmmm

My money would be on 870 to win this one yet again.

Yeah, GLR is insane this year, it should be a lot of fun, with so many great hurdlers my guess is that it'll all come down to auton mode, 9 hours left!

I agree 100%, the teams that dominate the autonomous period will dominate the competition. I also think that a well rounded alliance with the ability to dominate on all fronts during human control will be lethal. Also, the ability to consistently knock off/place the track ball on the overpass will make the difference in several matchups. The alliance with the most comprehensive strategy and consistent ability to perform, not necessarily the most powerhouses, will prevail as champions. Good Luck To All!
