Well, with one hundred teams there, anything can happen.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the diverse strategies teams will have. Hopefully most of the teams won't be mass scoreres on the high posts, because that would just be boring.

(Oh, and I'm from team 25, Rock-n-Roll Robots.)

Of course, I was really impressed when i saw Mr. Roboto's autonomous for the first time. Truly amazing.

Now that Overdrive has expanded to the 24" posts, it's really hard to say that they're not gonna win.

Which is why i think that is if overdrive were to team up with GSMST Beta, a perfect match, then I think they could go all the way.

I could see the winning alliance being 339,3 and 1

True, but i don't see those three teams being on the same alliance. The possibility that even one of those teams is left for the third pick is very unlikely.

Yes but you can see 2 of those teams most likely, 339 and 3. if 339 is first then they could pick 3. Strong Alliance right there not including the third pick

My predictions:
Franklin: 13 (sandcrawler), 3 (mr. roboto), 175 (checkmate)
Edison: 74 (overdrive), 478 (mustang), 64 (occam's engineers)

Yes I know I'm picking my own team, but we're definitely not bad.

I got to disagree with your top one 339,3,175. I think 339 will be #1 after qualifying pick 3 and then 175.

Hmm...ur selection is definitely good...i think that instead of Mustang GSMST Beta will be in there.

I have to disagree with your choice of Edison because your forgetting that FTC 189 outperformed 478 at the Ontario Championship. I'm assuming your pairing these teams by their recent performances? Also, you may not have seen the rest of the 47 teams. You never know if teams have added/ adopted new features from other robots which might improve their performance durastically.

189 was with 339 (1114) and they were a good alliance.
don't get me wrong 189 is a fantastic robot

I definitely didn't say 189 was worse than 478. We have definite respect for you guys and your robot. I certainly didn't pick in terms of how good the robots were, but rather by strategy.

It is a general concensus (spelling mistake?) that the winning alliance will consistant of a combination of at least one ramp robot and at least one stack robot. The reason I picked 74 over you guys is because they've won 4 regionals and are one of the favourites going into this competition.

I am not saying that we are defently going to make it there but i am saying that it's a possiblity

Just so there is no mis-understanding, i am not a member of FTC 189.

Edit: Everything is a possibility

Irregardless, 189 is definitely on the top of our scouting sheet going into Atlanta. Also, I'm going to assume 189 drastically changed their robot because of your comment =P
