I understand that what you meant was, "They didn't get an award for what they did." It's not true that they got nothing -- I think most of those small hard-working teams understand what FIRST is about more than some of the huge teams with $50,000 budgets, and what the students got for it was worth a lot more than a piece of lucite.

I actually read the thread the same way too. Im glad I read it completely wrong though. This thread is inspiring and amazing.

As for my team. I know a lot of us won self respect after our performance at Trenton.

If anyone saw the three on one match against us and we still got almost 50 points, not great but not bad, sadly we lost the match but one the other two to get to the finals :)

I can't explain it, but there was a beaming smile on each and every one of their faces. They laughed, sang, reminisced about the season(s) past, and spoke of all the amazing things still to be done in the future.

If that's not braggable, I don't know what is.

Every FIRST team should party like it's 1999.

Team 67 won GLR along with the assistance of 503 and 326.
I believe our alliance set a record scoring 60 points in hybrid.
We won the gracious professionalism award.
We had a very fulfilling experience by helping out our chilean friends.
