I've never gone to one of these before, but since I'm graduating and likely won't be back at the championship anytime soon, I guessed it was time to see what it was all about... but I have a question...

I know there are no published schedules or anything, but is it believeable that I could make it to the web hug at noon even if I'm a driver?

Sounds like a good time!

The thumb drives don't contain SolidWorks -- I believe they are probably branded with the SolidWorks logo ..

However -- a SolidWorks rep. saw your question and they have generously donated 47 copies of SolidWorks (student edition) to be given out to all raffle winners!

Only two requirements to win - you must be a student and you must love to design in 3D!

We will make certain to bring the copies of SolidWorks with all COSMOS analysis tools for calculating stress and motion and flow simulation. Your robots are becoming very advanced and you need the same tools our customer use to design robots from VEXplorer to the Mars Rover.

We can only travel to a few Regionals during the season. It will be great to to meet you all in Atlanta. Marie

Can I still win, if I promise to pass my copy off to a student? Because I am going to win! :P (Goes quickly to find real wood to knock on...)

Can't wait, I have my tickets. I didn't make it last year, so I demand extra hugs to make up.

I have confirmed with Genia that she will not be in atlanta, so now we have to find someone else to play keep away with their shoe after the webhug is over.
