The answer is in the first post of the thread. We meet at noon, get greeted and regaled with statistics about Forum usage, then receive goodies. Expect to be back at work in the pits or finding some lunch by 12:30.

"Picking the winners" just means compiling the ordered list of names (and aliases) to be read at the Web Hug. The actual awarding of shirts etc. will definitely be done at the event.

Yep -- we just save some time and do the picking before hand, and make a list of winners. They won't be announced until the Web Hug, though. This saves us from lugging around a pile of (now) 200+ raffle tickets, along with a whole bunch of prizes.
