USB to controller board chicklet
I am looking for a good, working USB chicklet to go into the robot controller board. If anyone knows of a brand or type, could you please copy the link to it or give me the info on it. TY to all who respond.

Re: USB to controller board chicklet
I am trying to get my code first on a laptop, but the problem is that we are low on funds so we can't get a six pin connector laptop, so instead we get another laptop and transfer the code through a USB cable. Problem is that the USB chord has to go to a chicklet that is a 6-pin that connects to the robot board, the one where you download code on to. We also need a USB chicklet for The controllers because we are getting controllers that have USB cables so we need a chicklet to go from USB to the Robot Operator Control board. So I am in need of two different kinds of chicklets, that are good!

Re: USB to controller board chicklet
Ok for programming you can use any off-the-shelf usb-to-DB9 converter.
look here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=usb +serial+adapter&x=0&y=0]NewEgg search Results look for stuff that resembles this: ![]() For the Joystick-to-OperatorInterface I don't think there are any other options besides the IFI chicklet: http://www.ifirobotics.com/usb-chicklet.shtml good luck! -Leav |
