We're sold out of all XL t-shirts from every year of our team's history, but I'll see how many L we have. I think I'm using up all of our shirts. (-:

Can someone tell me where the team name "Exploding Bacon" and the cheer "oink oink boom" came from?

I have wanted to know since they hit the scene!!!

There has got to be a great story there! I have heard of college pranks involving dead animal carcasses, welding gas, and rival fraternity houses----but I don't think that is the same story

HAHAHA (it is a real story)

someone--PLEEEEAAAASSSEEE tell me where exploding bacon got their name.

Does any team have a small bore/small length pneumatic cylinder we could use at the championship?

The true (and kinda boring) story is that during our first meeting the kids were playing around with a random name generator and the name Exploding Bacon came up. We actually voted to become Organized Chaos. At the next meeting one of the mentors came in with the logo design and mentioned that if we had become Exploding Bacon we could have used this logo. A vote was immediatly taken to change the name and we have been Bacon ever since.

The cheer came from MikeTWalker. The night before our first regional ever we were going over things and he came up with it....we ran with it. The coolest thing I ever heard was when we won Rookie All star that year to hear the whole arena screaming OINK OINK BOOM as we went down to get our award. With teams like PINK, SPAM, MARS and Sigma Cats in the house...you know it was loud.

Wendy has it mistaken, it was forged in the fires of Mount Awesome.

Ok--it was a good story-------not as exciting or disgusting as the exploded sheep in the FarmHouse frat house, but still good.

The first time I heard "oink oink boom" I couldn't understand it, the kids with me explained the correlation between the cheer and the teams name. Then I saw a button--and I "got it".

Most original team name/ team cheer yet.

Thanks for sharing.

987 would love to give you a hand...could you be more specific? I assume you need a 3/4 bore but what length stroke?

!!!I think my head is going to explode!!!! The next team I help start with a neighbor out of my garage, I think we'll name them Randomly Bacon.

But for the real reason, it came from Jim Gaffigan.

We would most likely need a 1" stroke 3/4" bore cylinder. If you have one that would be so awesome
