MOE had an awsome bot this year, and they put on quite a show on archimedes during the eliminations. We loved working with you guys, your an awsome team! Hopefully we convinced you to come out to Las Vegas next year...

842 played insane defense against us in Las Vegas, and we were glad to have you on our alliance. You shut down alot of bots.Congrats on winning Chairmans award as well!

See you next year!

And congratulations to teams 1124, 1024 and 177 for your well deserved division title...you guys put up one heck of a battle and we were sorry to see that you didn't bring home the Championship to Archimedes! Hope to see all the teams in our finals make it out to Las Vegas to celebrate our regional's 5th anniversary.

First of all congratulations to 1124, 1024, and 177. You guys were really awesome.

Thanks everyone for all the great compliments about our bot. We were really hoping we would get picked by one of the top alliances because I don't think we could have been stopped then. It was really an honor playing with and against so many great times. I wish we could have made it farther but unfortunately our alliance was slightly weak.

Anyways, we had a great time and I can't wait for next year.

Bro, just so you know, you were on my list the whole time for our pick. You, us and the Beast would probably have been unstoppable in Archimedes.

Oh, and for memory's sake..

To 1124, 1024, 177, 987, 365 and 842, thank you all for some absolutely amazing finals matches. It was rough having 987 and 177 on opposing alliances and trying to root for both.

To 365 thanks for the amazing defensive strategy you came up with for our qualifying match with you, that was a ton of fun to execute!

To 177, congratulations on making 3 consecutive trips to Einstein, each on a different field. Maybe you can win Curie next year!

See you all in 09!

yeah it was weird for us to ha i loved watching that defense in the last match ha you guys just parked and raised your suction cup and teams would hurdle and you would swat it out of the air.REALLY FUN TO WATCH!!

Thanks so much lilstogi. Thats what I was hoping for so much after we weren't picked in the first round. Unfortunately I knew no matter how many we hurdled with the alliance we had there was no way we could win, especially with them not playing any defense on you guys.

I definitely think us with you and the beast would have been unstoppable. As far as a pure hurdler, I still stand by the fact that we are one of the best in the world. Now our hybrid on the other hand is a different story.

Definitely can't wait until that happens. And hell yea, I totally agree that with a little more driver practice that you guys would be one of the best in the world. Hope you come up to Trenton next year. We could tear up the field together:cool:

This is because two years ago, on Galileo, we were ranked in the 60s going into the alliance selections and we did not think we were going to be picked. Out of nowhere, 177 picked us as their second alliance partner, and together with 1126, we won Galileo and advanced to Einstein. Sound familiar? I just though I had to share that one.

Thanks for your story. There are so many great teams like 177 who pass on the little lessons in FIRST, 177 just happened to be the one to pass the idea of good scouting on to our team. They are a great people, and they sure know a lot about their scouting and their defense. There was more to my story and our history with 177 (yeah, I was 1124's alliance captain- easy to get us mixed up with 1024, huh?) - last year we were both on Newton and we played each other in the finals. As you can guess, it was the other alliance that won. I invited their team to play with us rather than against us this year, hopefully to take Einstein again, but I wanted to do this in public as well. Unfortunately, I like to talk a lot, and our team was already making faces at me from the front row and trying to get me to shut up. (-:

Does anyone know where I can get a recording of the presentation of the Rockwell Automation award? I couldn't hear what they were saying about my software over the robot running... :o

Thanks so much to Team 190 and 177 for helping us think outside the box. Team 190, you guys have an amazing robot. I'm glad we could collectively come up with an innovative way to utilize it.

Qualification match alliance of 1124, 357, and 171 (match 88, I believe), thanks for forming what we considered such a great alliance that we needed extra brainpower to come up with outside-the-box strategies to try to beat you. Uberbots 1124 - you guys have an awesome bot. Very scary!

Thanks to the High Rollers for selecting us for eliminations. We played some great matches and complimented each other very well. Your bot and drive team is amazing!

Also glad to share an alliance with the Championship Chairman's winner. Congratulations on getting "The Big One."

It was great to have all of our alliance teams in the stands in the same area cheering together. Even in the Georgia Dome, we made alot of noise!

Congrats to our Archimedes Champions 1124-1024-177. When we looked over all the alliances in Archimedes, we said that yours was the one to beat to get on Einstein. Great job! Thanks for representing our division well.

I had a great time in Archimedes this year. Our first year in the division was our best year in Atlanta to date. Our only loss was an unfortunate one that could not have been avoided. The tie we had was our fault because we our elevator would not go down. Thank you for 555 and 386 for being on an alliance with us. You guys were great and I would love to work with you again. Usually when people get beat they are upset but I was not. I figured, you know, we only lost one match this year and won 5. Usually in the past is is the other way around. Thanks to all our qulifacation partners who greatly helped with this record. Especially 2024, 365, and 1124 just because you were three teams I really wanted to work with. See you all next year at regionals or championships. Or possibly even off seasons depending on which ones you do. I know for sure that I will see Moe. Also, thank you to whoever returned my bag with the beads to our pits Saturday morning. We looked for them all day Friday and they were there Saturday so that started my day off right.

Thanks for picking us, and thanks 201 for being a great partner. Those were great matches. Also, I'd like to thank the opposing alliance (27,93, and 525) for playing the matches cleanly.

We knew we were going to lose that one... oh well. We had an idea that 190 was going to use their arm to upset us and get in the way, and that you and 177 were going the be the scorebots.
im actually very surprised that 190 didn't get any impeding penalties... they sat there the whole match, and got a 'signal to pass' many times without them moving at all.
