Michigan v. Texas? It would be interesting if the alliances in the division final were one all michigan and one all texas. I personally would love to see that but I wonder if an integration of the two would make a stonger alliance.

Don't count out the Rochester NY connection. It would be cool to see a NY Michigan alliance again. ;)

:( So sad there aren't enough Hawaii teams to make an all Hawaii alliance. Even if there were, hopefully alliances get picked based on merit and not region. :)

I'm sure teams will pick based on merit. Just its interesting to throw around alliances based on regional that would do well. Everyone knows that once the selection starts, region distiction means very little compared to robot capabilities, although 2053 won FLR when allied with 191 (and 20, 174) so that would be fun to revive that alliance.

we have:
California, Arkansas, Michigan, Indiana, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey,
Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Hawai'i :), North Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio, Maryland, Iowa, Arizona, South Carolina, Brazil (!), Colorado, Georgia, Rhode Island, Virgina, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Illinois, Nevada, Idaho, Canada (!), Mexico (!), Mississippi, and Massachussets. Who'd I miss?

This is going to be great!
And very loud!

Here are some stats on teams in the Curie division. Columns are sortable (JavaScript must be enabled, I believe).

Are you guys awake yet?
Somebody starting talking stats and robot capabilities...else I'll start talking about neato 'bots I saw at OKC, using NEM terminology instead of engineering terminology. Oh the horror.

(I'm joking, I think...)
