I remember you guys in KC. You pretty much flew under the radar there also, until the elimination matches, and as a 9th pick, you carried the rest of the team to victory.

My post was an attempt at humor. A little bit Car-Nack style. Now, if there were all ready alliances posted on Einstein.......

Here are some stats on teams in the Newton division. Columns are sortable (JavaScript must be enabled, I believe).

Ick..how can you programmers take it? Of course doing all of the physics work wasn't much better, but still...

Anyways, Galileo is overrated, we have some nice bots in our division too.

Yah we were a sleeper. We are making so many upgrades to the robot in atlanta that we should be able 2 hurdle twice as fast as we usually do.

A combination of two out of these four 39 , 233 , 968 ,2056 ,and the addition of a third partner from ,20 ,47 ,79 ,111,141 ,175 179 , 397,359, 503 ,1625, could be a power house!!!!! It will all depend on who finishes #1 in qualifying.

Do you really think that the majority of those robots listed as "third partner" would still be around? I don't see many of them lasting that long.

Well, since there are 15 robots there, and I would expect some other teams to crack the top 8, a few of those teams will have to be 3rd robots.

But almost certainly not for an alliance with two out of the first four mentioned, I'm pretty sure that if 2 of those 4 get together it will be as 3 seed at worst, more likely 1 or 2 seed.

Oops, my mistake

There are a few other team that will also be around for 3rd robots that would really make a solid alliance. With the depth of this division, every alliance should be pretty strong
