ATTN: Teams With Extra Hotel Space!
 

I know it's pretty last minute, but I'm buying Greyhound tickets down to Atlanta, and signed up for volunteer at the event. Even if I'm not approved in time, I'm still going anyway. Problem is, all hotels in a 1,000-mile radius (exaggeration) is sold out, so I can get down there, just nowhere to stay overnight.

Ok, I've got a hotel room thanks to Nawaid Ladak. I still haven't booked my Greyhound tickets yet just in case there is a team going through Cleveland, OH on their way down. They went up on the flippin prices since the last time I've traveled. Again, I'll pitch in for gas to the traveling team.

When did you first register?

I know I heard back & I signed up right before week 2 or 3 of regionals, and have a volunteer job in Atlanta, but a friend of mine hasn't heard back yet and they signed up around the same time.
I think it's hit or miss pretty much as much I hate to think that.

There should be a number you can call and confirm, or get some help on that, I just don't know it off hand.

Check the FIRST page for contact info, or the VIMS pages in particular for a number.

Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately, something came up that's conflicting with Atlanta, so I'm unable to go. I'll see you all next year.

I've got an extra space that has come up. If anyone is in need of a last minute room. There should be room for two more.
