Does OCC still use SW to design their bikes?
(edit: Oops, didn't catch the title of the picture. lol I guess they do. Awesome!)

It's good to see Solidworks talk every once in a while on these forums.

Makes me feel like not so much an outcast using SW instead of Inventor in the FIRST community. :)

Hi Elgin,

You are part of the majority in the 3D engineering design world. I studied mechanical engineering and that allowed me to design industrial robots and laboratory robots. SolidWorks helps our customers across many industries - so in the big design world, you will never be an outcast.

SolidWorks has been helping OCC design beautiful custom bikes for 4+ years. I actually can't ride the SolidWorks bike because I am too short. But someday I hope to test drive the Koenigsegg.

I also don't think your will be alone in Atlanta. That is why I wanted to put my picture up and meet people I "talk" with on Chief Delphi on Thursday. We shipped hundreds of copies of SolidWorks this year to teams. I bet you will meet many new SolidWorks friends.

Marie

Hi Marie,

This is great! We are so fortunate to have such a powerful piece of software at our fingertips. We, teams 254 and 968 use SolidWorks extensively to design our robots. If you are in Atlanta, please stop by and check them out! :)
