Beach Balls In The Stands

Hey,

First of all i'm on an FTC team. I've been watching the FRC Regionals and when all the teams are in the stands there are beach balls popping around the audience, during the opening and awards ceremonies. Today I bought some beach balls for Atlanta. Do You think it's a good idea to pop them around? I think if FRC can do it FTC should too. I think everyone should buy a couple and bounce them around.

Do you feel it is ok to pop them around of would it be a disturbance?

This is a question to ask the people at FIRST about before asking us. It might be in the rule book already.

I personally find it extremely annoying.

i think they are cool and a fun way to get the crowd going.

However I think that it is kind of rude when a speaker is talking and people in the stands are paying more attention to the balls than what they have to say. Thankfully I havn't seen much of this but it has occured...

I think beach balls are fun, but I agree it is rude when a person is speaking. I haven't been paying much attention to FTC this year, but I will say Overdrive has plenty of excitement without beach balls:D
