The Gorillas won Detroit with 217, but changed to a shooter in Great Lakes. With their new shooting design they became even more deadly, but weren't able to capture a medal.

440 WAS IN THAT TOO WITH AN AVERAGE OF 8.5 LAPS

Absolutely - 440 did an outstanding and professional job with us to win Bayou. I believe they did 11 laps in one of our final matches! Thanks guys!

We sure know what you can bring to the table. You defied our expectations last year on Newton, and now we're excited to (hopefully) work with you this year.

Two regional wins in one season - I think you may have to lose the "underdog" moniker:yikes:

It may be an oversight because of our late entry, but I believe that 1771 has an excellent chance to go far. Our showing at Peachtree was not what we had anticipated, mostly due to a breaker problem (the arm motor breaker kept tripping) that caused all 4 losses we had in the ranking matches. we got that problem fixed and were undefeated in the ranking matches after that. The other weakness we had, ball removal, will be fixed by the addition on a knock-off device on Thursday morning. We expect to vastly improve our autonomous mode too, aiming for 4 lines and a ball. We can expect to average 5 hurdles/match, have gotten seven. Definitely a top 25 bot.

1629 is looking to make a strong run at Championships too. With 5-6 lines in hybrid, and the ability to complete 7-8 laps plus 3-4 hurdles per match, we should be able to hold our own in the seeding matches and hopefully get on a top alliance as a late first or second round pick. We have even considering using practice matches just to show how many laps we can actually do. (without slowing down to pick up the ball hopefully around 10-12 maybe more if we actually take the limits off the programming)

We deffinatly aren't the best robot, in fact not even very close, but with a good allaince and a little luck we hope to make a run deep into eliminations

The difference between your robot and these top 25 robots is they have already proven that they fixed any big weakness they had. While you may have fixed your problems and may be just as good as any of those teams listed, they have already proven it on the field.

I would rather be in your situation and sneak up on a lot of teams instead of comming into matches with a huge target.

That's an interesting way of writing that word LF.
It looks like only a handful of people are known to write it that way that on these forums.

But you knew that didn't you? ;)

Just remember, these are predictions and go by what a group of people have witnessed. As far as adding autonomous mode, which may/may not work once paired with the robot, hasn't been witnessed in action. Don't worry about being a top 25 bot in LF's perspective (they may have overlooked you as you suggested), there are way more bots past the ones on this list that are amazing competitors and complement certain other bots enough to bring in a trophy this year.

Not too worried about being a target, just want to be noticed early so scouts will pay attention to us, in case we are not doing the picking ourselves...

The scouts will be watching whether you tell them to or not..
And if they aren't, do you really want to be a part of that alliance?

These lists and predictions are just for fun and the community as a whole. Good scouting teams don't use them when picking and they watch all robots in every match at that event. Also, scouts do watch video from prior events, so if you want something online that they will pay attention to:

Post the video of your 7 hurdle match at Peachtree
