Beatty was within a fingertip of #5 last year, so someone else could get their chance.

However, no one other than Archimedes or Newton seems to be capable of taking it all. That said, I think 1114's built themselves a dream team, so they've got a fighting chance. (Not to mention, imagine Paul Copioli, Karthik, and JVN lining up at the alliance station opposite you! Wouldn't you hightail it the other way?)

yeah, i would like to know who won too... weird that they unveiled Chairman's Award early. the webcast is being a pain for me so i've given up trying to watch; and perhaps it is for the best, since i am writing a massive term paper for one of my classes that is due next week (subject: an analysis of FIRST robotics as a religion. maybe i'll post it somewhere after i'm done with it? but my paper has nothing to do with this thread, so dont get off the subject.)

EDIT: ok, i hope everything is going well for all of the robots... i'll jut keep checking back on the forum for updates.

YES 1114 made it to the finals. When someone told me they lost the first match because thunderchickens flipped I was so disappointed.
