Some Radio Problems

So after we got the robot back this season, we've got a bit of a problem. The radio connection doesn't seem to want to work.

It runs fine tethered. The problem's not a faulty serial cable, we tried a few, and the standard black one works fine while being used for a tether extension.

Does anyone have any problem what might be wrong? It worked fine before we crated it back up (except of course for the fallen-off drivechain).

Any good way to troubleshoot this, or anyone else had this problem?

What are the lights on the 2 radios / the RC / the OI telling you?

Yeah, check the lights... check for a small metal filing shorting out pins in the connector... if theres no link up i think you should see TX and Standby flickering on the OI and RC units.

If you disassembled part of the robot/OI in any way since the competition, are the RC and OI radios connected to the RC and OI respectively (The Operator Interface radio should be connected to the OI)? I know it sounds obvious but it can be overlooked.

Fixed.

For reference:
The lights on the RC and OI were fine, except the Radio Link one was red. The lights on the OI Radio (which wasn't mixed up) weren't on, aside from the Standby flashing once upon power on.

We replaced the AC adapter, it turns out we lost ours between Milwaukee and MN, and someone brought in some other random 12V adapter, which caused the problems. We ordered another from IFI, plugged it in, and it worked like a charm.

Thanks for all the suggestions anyway.
