Probably should have made a poll "Are you ready for Kickoff '09?" yes or no?

I'm not I've got APs, Marching band, Hawaii vacation (that's right be jelous), IRI, Kettering kick-off, My Birthday, Christmas, a lot of community events and demonstrations, and we CAN'T build another robot until we break this one via overuse...

Any guesses yet? How about that water game? (HAHA FIRST TO MENTION IT FOR 2009!)

Been waiting for this since last years kickoff. Heck yeah I am excited.

However, I have 9 off-season competitions between now and then, 8 of which I am competing in. :yikes: This is gonna be crazy awesome.

Not Just for Nor-Cal. 997, 968, and 980 have also made appearances.

Its the largest offseason on the west coast, and provided we can get more room I'd love to see all the west coast teams coming to compete.

There's no need to go all the way to Indy for a good offseason event ;)

How can we start 2009 when we haven't even finished 2008. Maybe the Championship is over and everything official with FIRST but there is so much more!

125 along just withing the next 6 weeks will be competing in 3 post seasons, 1 of which we are running! Its a lot of work. I think I can count my nights off since December on 2 hands, maybe...

There are probably a few more scattered competitions over the summer and fall that we'll be in attendance. Then there is just the general need to keep the team going. That means sponsorship and recruitment. All of this which must be planned and executed.

So I'm as ready now as I would be in January but I could definitely use the time to get everyone in Boston prepped. We work with a lot of young teams in the area, so we have some seminars to plan and get going.

Let me know when we can sleep?

Is there ever really a FIRST off-season? If you find it let me know.

Im am defintely not ready, our team has to develop a working mecanum drive code so we can drive straight. we also need to go on a massive recruting campaign for members. In past years weve had 60+ but now we have about 15

330 has also gone.

Have any teams east of the Rockies showed up to Cal Games? None have come to the SoCal postseason events... Might need to change that.

You can make it with fifteen, we usually have less than that, though we have been growing slow and steady these past few years.

I'm always ready:cool:

I give you props for making semi-finalists. Congrats, seriously.
I wonder how you make divisions of labor on a team like that?
