Are you trying to say the admins on TBA and the LF squad are one in the same!?!?!?!:ahh: :ahh: :ahh: (that took me a really long time to find some underlying meaning to that sentence lol.)

I think having a whole top 20 ranking would be awesome. It sure would be a fun way to share everyone's thoughts on some of the best robots in all of FRC instead of talking about the best robots at a specific regional.

Re: 2009 Season Looking Forward

Well i have been absorbed into the new season, but looking forward to the looking forward "spot on" predictions.

One problem i see with looking forward doing this newscast/sportscenter style video each week, is that by having an anonymous person running the show, would that not make him a known person? Instead maybe it should be a independently run show with a small illusion to Looking Forward, having a portion of the show being about Looking Forwards accuracy, and if he/she agrees the top 25 teams and picks.

Who ever really wants to undertake this project should look into its feasibility and find area correspondents, maybe that could help out, cover a couple of regionals. But it sounds like an awesome idea, i'd love to contribute.

If you look back to last year, the first one (as well as the rest of the predictions) all came out on Wednesday before the competition, so I would expect them tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it...

Unless he is traveling to the DC regional with his old team and new team... ;)

It might just be my past interest in Beowulf clusters, but every time I see a large challenge esp. one that is naturally multithreaded involves multiple unrelated events, I start thinking about parallelizing the process. To that end, going decentralized and just having 2-3 people per event record a ~10-15 minute discussion of the robots and happenings at an event seems like a more practical model.

I think "Looking Forward" is waiting to see 71's robot. Come on 71! Your holding up the predictions!

Although it's safe to assume 71 will be back in championship form once again.

We just know it has something to do with going to the moon to gain a unique advantage on other more human teams...

I know, that was the craziest final I have ever seen or been in!!! Who has ever heard of 2 ties in a final match?! And the final match was a difference of 2 points!! That is how a final should be! Even though we had 2 disabled bots, I enjoyed that match and hats off to team Voltage

I was very surprised that 342 was mentioned at all and I very eagerly wait for your predictions this year. GREAT WORK OVER ALL.

*I was convenced for a while that BillFred was LookingForward, but that is a discussion for another thread lol*

My 2 cents says that LF's commentary was entertaining and accurate, even if sometimes creepy in a stalker-ish kind of way. No fear, but his/her minions must inhabit all corners of the world...

I have no suggestions for improvement, it's all good.
