Thanks to Steve and the whole crew for putting on a great event. We didn't make it out last year, but I'm hoping this will now become a tradition for our team. We had a lot of fun.

Congratulations to 1504, 70, and 1528. You guys played great.

Lastly thanks to 1025 and 1023. We made a good run, but in the end, just didn't have enough fire power to overcome 67, 910, and 226.

Contratulations to all the teams for making this a fun competition - hope to see you all there next year.

MARC was awesome! Keep it up for next year and hope to increase! It was an incredible competition, espically with all that crazy Marco's pizza and air-conditioned pits...totally wicked. :D

Although, why hasn't Dean Kamen invented the teleporter? I didn't like the 8 hour drive...haha :P

Sorry Koko for breaking a flag...I also saw I wasn't the only one...

Wood does not make the best flag poles.

I have video of the entire elimination rounds. As soon as I can I will post them. I was so busy running the event that I did not really get to see any of the rounds. I really want to see the 96-96 tie with no penalties. That is awesome. From what I here that was some vary exciting matches all over the place this year.

MARC was an awesome event, and I am so glad to have been a part of it.

70/1528/1504, you guys were a great alliance. It's always fun announcing for an alliance with pirates, penguins, and aliens :p you played hard, fast, and determined; congratulations on the gold! (and high fives to team 70 for the interactive MC action, you guys kept it fun!)

67/910/226, another amazing alliance. Many of my FIRST friends are summed up in this alliance, and I mean come on.. you just can't beat "Freezerburn." Specifically to 67 - your drivers are SICK. I would get lost announcing your matches because the hotbot was just all over the place. Hurdle, grab, hurdle, grab, drive through traffic, hurdle. As a driver and an announcer (who saw a lot of matches that day), I give you maajor props. 910 as well, you guys never stopped improving after our Great Lakes run. You were clearly one of the dominant robots here at MARC.

33/2337/279... let me tell you, you guys were an insane alliance. I talked to most of you personally after you were eliminated, but yeah.. all I have to say is, let the IRI'ers pray this alliance doesn't reform!

As for MARC itself, maajor high fives all around to all the volunteers. It was a fun time to be had by all, whether you were reffing, doing the sound, MCing, doing field control, or a little of everything, it was a great time and a great event that ran pretty smoothly (few hiccups here and there but nothing too major). Steve, thank you so much for putting on a phenomenal offseason competition, and thank you for letting me have a chance behind the microphone. I'm not sure all the praise is warranted, but I did have a fun time and I appreciate the kind words :) I will most definitely be around next year.

I feel like there is way more to be said here, but nothing is coming to mind. I'll probably edit later. Come visit me at Cedar Point!!
First edit: Steve, do you have video of any of the other matches? I want to hear how my announcing really sounded.. I was whipped tired by the finals O:)

Sounds like I missed a great competition! I had to stand up in a wedding which I had a blast at, but I still have not figured out how to be in two places at one time. Congratulations to 1504 ,70 ,1528 on a well deserved win!Beth Sweet and team 1504, I told you after our preformance together at WMR that you guys rock!! Team 70 allways top notch ,and our teams together have also had some successful runs through elims. 1528 congrats on your first victory, the first one is always a special one. To the Hot Team we have come so close ,one day we will win one together!!!!! Lets make it happen at IIIIIIRRRRRRIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments. I have to say, driving the HOTBOT is CR4ZY, it took a while to get used the the rear steering the the full power of that well designed and programmed machine. I am looking forward to IRI, with all the greatest teams in the world gathered there, I'm sure the finals will be as difficult as in Einstein.

I would personally like to thank the pit crew, they don't always get the credit they deserve.

lol, cause those poor people have to fix the robot after my 2 minutes of "RoAdRaGe!" and going reverse through traffic

While I was driving... my bro took video of all the matches we attended... we missed our second match due to technical problems [our endofactor was not connected to our robot ;) ]
When I got home I compiled the videos into one file and uploaded it to vreel and blip tv, although I didn't have a match list or the match scores to include in the video :D
I tried to put it on youtube... but this is the response --> "Broadcast:"Public | Rejected (length of video is too long)"
the video is about 35 minutes and encompasses all the matches... that we showed up to :P . I know my driving sucks to begin with...
but I got better as the regional went on :D
