Koko, stop complaining. Get down here and THANK GOD that you didn't book a hotel that's 345435363465 miles away from the school. =)

You get to sleep in...We're transporting some rabid FIRST MARS & SPAM alumni from UCF & FIT. They can't stay away from the Mayhem!

No, but we'll be yelling "Oink, Oink, Boom!" (as well as "Mega...Awesome") once we arrive. Good luck to all the teams; drive safe.

Re: Mission Mayhem 2008

Sadly, it doesn't look like I am going to make it down to cheer on my teams.

For those who haven't heard, I am moving to Huntsville Alabama next week. I have about 1000 things to do before the move, and I think I'm on number 14 so I can't fit Mayhem into my schedule. I am flying up October 1st to start work and will be back in a few weeks after the movers come to drive up with my wife - that happens to be the weekend of TNT which I will sadly miss as well.

We've been planning this for a while but it fell into place rather suddenly - I got the job offer at the beginning of August - so we are looking forward to it. I've already contacted Ed Sparks about Alabama FIRST - looking forward to working with him again.

I will be working on a really cool project (one I can actually talk about for a change) which basically involves designing a REALLY BIG robot that we will produce in a quantity of about 30,000 per year. Ask me about it when you see me.

To my friends in South Florida (and Arefin :)) - I will miss you and look forward to seeing you all at the championship.

Gary

Definately a lot of fun, thanks to 180 Spam and 1902 Exploding Bacon, who were with Team Krunch as chanpions.

Too bad one of our cars broke down on the way, then did it again, and one of our kids hurt himself in the hotel, then our front forks broke, then our back forks broke, then our battery chargers were found to be bad, then our teammate 1902 had a problem with their wheels, then our front forks broke again. But nothing is perfect, right?

Mission Mayhem 2008 was once again mayhem, what a great event! Although we had our share of problems throughout the day batteling the field we managed to have a good finale. Then there was the moment that I will never forget in my life all the WFA winners and Woodie himself comming thru the front door at Mission Mayhem thanks for taking the time out to come visit and show your support guys. To all the voluenteers: you guys are wonderful the show can not go on with out you and you folks made it happen. The teams at Mayhem are also alot of fun as well and of course the lifeblood of the event. Finally to Mr.Arefin Bari you made it happen again bud congrats.

Referree,
Drew Disbury

(Who would have thought I'd ref an offseason)

I had a great time at Mission Mayhem, it was my first time going and my first torny with Bacon. It hurt to talk after, but it was well worth it.

Man, sounds like something that would have been great to see.

What were the alliances, top rankings, winners, finalists? (sorry :P hehe)

I hope someone took pics of the wfas I was busy referring. Quite easily the most inspiring thing seeing them walk in at an offseason event even more then the closing ceremonies at Championships. The winners were 79,180 and 1902, the finalist were 179,744 and 1251. They were the number 1 allience and number 3 respectively. Number 4 alliance was 233,1345,408 and the number 2 alliance I can not recall. 1872,108 and 1523 may have been the number 2 but I am not sure. The teams were drafted in the order listed so the first team here was the alliance captain.
