Iron Man: Read Before You Go To See It

Ok, this contains NO SPOILERS. This is just advice that the movie does have a scene after the credits. I'm not saying what, but it is worth the wait. For those of you who have already seen the movie but didn't stay for the scene, PM me and I will tell you what you missed in private. Please keep this thread free of spoilers.

Saw it day one and I knew beforehand to stay afterwards.
That scene afterwards is the precursor to a huge potential franchise.

I totally didn't understand the scene :( But it seemed really cool! :)

I really loved the movie, and I don't normally like the action type movie.

Not bad for my first super hero movie (besides from a few batman ones, but they don't count).

Awwwwwwww... Dang. I saw it and didn't know to stay! Could somebody pm me what happened? I kind of have a general idea, but I want details.

You have to know either the comics or the cartoon to get it. And yes...it was awesome.

My friend and I are making a movie called Aluminum Boy. And yea...we are using 80/20 for the costume. lol

Bah, I didn't stay.
The movie was pretty good, but I'm apparently the only who doesn't think it was the best movie ever. It was too much of a Tony Stark movie, and not enough of an Iron Man. Although Tony Stark is an All-American badass, and everyone with a Y chromosome now has a new hero, it still could have used some more action. Plus, Warmachine is sweeter than Iron Man anyway. ;)
Over-all it was solid, but the lack of action and handful of plot holes dragged it down. I'd give it a C+.
Looking forward to The Incredible Hulk (it's got freaking Edward Norton! :D) and Dark Knight.

Yeah, it definitely was not the best movie ever. It was fun to watch and now I want next year's robot to be gold and titanium. Can't wait for the Dark Knight to come out though. It looks to be awesome.

Luckily my friend knows people at the theater. We were already half way out the door when one of them told us about the after the credits scene. If not for them, I would have totally missed it.

I have not seen the final cut but I am willing to pay to see the entire movie again to see the end and yes I know what happens but I just want to see it

Didn't Hollywood just release a Hulk movie not too long ago??
What gives? Is this part 2 of the one released in 2003, or a completely new movie?

And for everyone who saw Iron Man & missed the last scene, why on earth would you EVER leave a movie theater right as the credits roll??
Seriously. I'll bet the people who missed the scene in Iron Man also walked out early & missed Maggie talking at the end of the Simpsons Movie.

I think it was intentionally a new movie b/c the Hulk didn't meet their sales expectations....and frankly, it was not good at all.

I personally don't read the credits, because I don't think there should be credits. The fact that they get paid is enough of a "credit" they don't need to have their name on it. My boss once told me to never accept a "Thank you" other then a paycheck at work. The paycheck is the only thank you I need.

If the only reason you go to work is to get paid, you're going to have a miserable existence.

Thank you can mean a lot in any context and while it doesn't buy my groceries, it's a nice gesture that keeps me happy at work and keeps me doing the best I can to get my job done.

I don't work just for the money. I do it because I enjoy it. However, I don't expect someone to thank me for doing my job. It is my job, if I don't do my job then is when I expect them to take notice.

Also, for you Hulk fans out there:
