Get Your Ph.D. in Robotics at Georgia Tech

For those thinking of a interdisciplinary doctoral degree in robotics, the first one being offered in the USA is at The Georgia Institute of Technology.

Actually, Carnegie Mellon University has been the home to the first Robotics PhD program in the world for over a decade. Their program is designed around skill sets from the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science programs, and easily satisfies the "interdisciplinary" definition.

HHmmm. I might have to think about this as a graduate program. Methinks this is in direct response to the Mechatronics degree at Southern Polytechnic which is not far away. http://advancement.spsu.edu/pub_rel/...s-CnstEng.html

The WPI program is for a B.S. not PhD.
