IRI 2008 Roommate/Transportation Thread
 

I thought I'd start a thread for people to find roommates/transportation for the 2008 IRI.

I'll start with myself:
I will be staying at the Super 8 and I am looking for one or two more roommates. I will be getting to Indy Thursday night and leaving Sunday. Please send me a private message or email me if you are interested.

Now that I'm confirmed as going, I'm looking to find some roommates. I'd get into town Thursday night and leave Sunday morning. I may or may not have friends coming along for the trip, and they may or may not be female.

To that end, I'm also up for giving rides of whatever distance. If you're along the route (or, for the Floridians, willing to get to Columbia, SC) and up for splitting gas (the CR-V has been getting 27-28 MPG of late), shoot me a PM.

I live in Kokomo which is just 50 miles north of Indy, so I plan to just stay at my house for certain financial reasons. Anyways, I will be driving to and from Kokomo every day, so if anyone needs a ride, shoot me a PM and I can provide one for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

if anyone needs a room, please let me know, i'd prefer someone who can provide transportation to and from the North Lawrance H.S.

I have connections for Choice International so i get rooms for very cheap, if anyone is staying at the Comfort Inn Suites, Quality Inn or Suburban Extended stay near the school...where a lot of the other hotels are

if anyone can give me a ride to the H.S. or wants to room with me for a very cheap price, please PM me ASAP

Who's flying in on Thursday & what time?

I'm not exactly sure what time our flight gets into Indiana, but sharing some rides to the general area of the HS neighborhood would be cool.
I have myself & a friend of mine with me traveling this year finally!.
We may end up renting a car, but who knows?

Also, is anyone going back to the airport at the insane morning hours on Sunday?
7am flight should be fun in the morning. LOL

Anyways, If anyone has any openings in a car, either day or wants to provide a ride for two east-coasters, PM me!

Me, Dave Guzman, and Drew Disbury flies in at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday. Depending on them and luggage, we may be able to get you to the high school or the hotel.

Hey Arefin. Thanks for the offer. I think we're flying in for about 3pm-ish that Thursday. If that's too late to work out for you, that's ok. We may end up just renting a car. (I'm personally interested in a Mustang from Hertz & have a pretty nice deal lined up for that. Oh what fun that could be. :D)
Anyways, when I get detailed plans I'll have to give you a call, or hit me up sometime this week.

I've still got four spots left in my room at the Super 8, with a ride to and from. (Well, we might have to get creative if there are six--the CR-V holds five. But we'll get it done.) Works out to about $50 for all three nights if the room fills, but I need to know by Tuesday night so I can revise the reservation if need be.
