I vote that acdcfan259 gets first chance at 70, since 1629 won't be going and the two teams are of approximately the same quality. If acdcfan259 doesn't want 70, then Travis gets them.

Koko presented a disclaimer/warning about 1629 and 2177 before the draft started. There was additional risk attached to picking them. I understood this when I picked up 2177, and that's why I proceeded to be proactive and ASK IRI planners about their participation - something that any one of us were free to do, if motivated - instead of sitting around twiddling my thumbs and merely hoping they'd attend.

Besides, given your suggestion, I would submit that his selection of 70 would be a no-brainer. I would not be agreeable to the situation you suggested, nor would I deem it to be fair to anyone, most of all the guy who took the initiative to discover their participation in the event in the first place!

If we're going to be nitpicking about this stuff and can't come to the understanding that I did nothing different from what many other FF drafters did during the regular season, then I suggest that 70 and the team that may eventually fill up IRI's last remaining slot is off limits to everyone. That would be the "fairest" alternative if the majority (or Ed, who can override all of us) can't bring themselves to characterize what I originally did as prudent and just. If that turns out to be the case, I choose 1008 to replace 2177.

Please excuse me for practicing proactive risk management!

What stuns me the most is Jack didn't pick 70 since he's their field coach.
I did apply a buyer beware to picking 1629 and 2177 so picking their replacements is a first come, first served right.
I'm more miffed at the IRI powers that be for not making updates to their list than I am at Travis for simply giving them a call.

I didn't want to pick them do to the Inside Information problem. I had a distinctly unfair advantage of knowing that they were going for about 5ish days now. Picking them before anyone else even knew they were going would have been wrong of me.

I need to know who the top 16 were.
Also I forgot who the 4th alliance members were except for 68 and 1731.

But are they all correct? That was an issue during IRI, with repeated matches/teams in consecutive matches. Hopefully it's been fixed, though.

The other thing is, they don't have pre-penalty scores. You need those for the ranking score.
