Yes, they are more expensive than $0.65. However, the trade off is being able to make PWM cables any size you want. This should help clean up a robots wiring.

Assuming you treat your tools well, it's probably less because you can reuse the tool year after year.

Just take break away headers and push the plastic part so the pins on both sides are equal. I have been doing it for 3 years now without a problem.
