Replacing my original entry with this.

In spite of the fact that cheese Burgers were considered to be a COTs by the FIRST manual, after prototyping 675 realized that using them as a building material might not be a good idea.

I'm not surprised to see that the pistons weren't eaten. It's common knowledge that once pneumatics are activated, they're very difficult to keep down.

When you start using burgers as parts, and your teammates tell you that you can't use them because they aren't in the KOP, this is a huge red flag that you and your teammates need some sleep.

Final score of the 2008 season:
Cylinders: 20
Burgers: 100
Team 675: Infinity due to eating all the burgers and -infinity due to eating their robot's actuators.
Scoring computer: Crashed. It's kind of hard to subtract infinity from infinity (or, for that matter, do ANYTHING with the FRC scoring computers...).

From the "We always joke about it , but no one ever really does it....do they?"
department:
Team 675 receives an event DQ at UC Davis, after 3 freshman, a box of burgers
and unfinished pneumatics are discovered when their crate is opened.

Coach, "Guys, I said burgers and Blimpies not burgers and BIMBAs!"

T'was the night before Ship Date and there wasn't a creature in sight. Actuators sat in boxes to the waking children's delight. The mothers and fathers of the children sat put, while the pitter patter of young engineers' feet woke them and lit up the shop. Scattered around were the young engineers, eagerly awaiting their snackage and gears. Happiness rang through Rohnert Park as the students collected their desired snacks and parts. They devoured the food like they hadn't eaten in days, this was so true in so many ways. As all the children ate and were lullibied to sleep (by the sound of motors and compressors of course), they dreampt of the upcoming challenge and awaited their glory days.

:P

"Get ya burgers here, burgers for sale! Buy two, get a piston free!" Somehow this fundraiser just didn't quite work out the way they'd hoped...

Following a season of the drive team consistently missing lunch at comps, the students recall Mentor Bob saying, "Where there is a problem, there is an engineering solution." And that's how the Mentor Bob High Speed Injection Feeder was born.

[obviously not an entry]

Fear not, I'm just invoking the BIWWTM Rule. It'll be judged tonight. :)
