Oh, Susie Q, baby I love you, Susie Q.

Well, say that you'll be true, well, say that you'll be true,
Well, say that you'll be true, and never leave me blue, Susie Q.

Creedence Clearwater Revival comes to mind.

Edit: Can Paul sing?

Even worse, you could have a "Kiss the Paul" contest. I heard he squeals when you pick him up too.

My goodness... all of these city folk are just plum ignorant.

Pig 101
Gilt: young female pig, has not had a litter yet
Barrow: young male pig, usually castrated shortly after birth
Sow: older female momma pig
Boar: male daddy pig (not castrated)

Boars and sows make gilts and barrows. Gilts and barrows are the feeder pigs who are sent to market after about 6 months, when they weigh 220-250 lbs. Yes... Suzy Q (aka Oscar) will weigh about 240 in 6 months, if fed properly.

Here is a slew of information if you wish to learn more.

Thanks for uploading the picture. I was at IRI but unfortunately ended up missing this moment!

As far as a funny caption for this photo:

Oscar (to Paul) : Don'tcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?!

Disclaimer: I've never actually seen Paul's significant other, but I'm sure she's real pretty. Just thought it'd be a funny caption! :)

If I owned a pig I wouldn't want it back after Paul kissed it either!

In some way this idea must have involved Scott Ritchie. He enlightened me as to what cow pie bingo was years ago.

Heavens, there is SO much to know about swine!

Extrapolating from 2005 figures shown at the link Andy provided above, it appears that global stock now exceeds one billion pigs, and that more than half of them are in China. Who knew?

Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.
Sometimes timing on music works out perfect.

I think so, but I think I remember it having different lyrics:

Oh, Susie Q, oh, Susie Q,
Oh, Susie Q, piggie I love you, Susie Q.

I like the way you kiss, I like the way you kiss,
I like the way you kiss Pauly on the lips, Susie Q

Well, say that you'll be pink, well, say that you'll be pink,
Well, say that you'll be pink, that is what I think, Susie Q.

Well, say that you'll be swine, well, say that you'll be swine,
Well, say that you'll be swine, bacon in no time, Susie Q.

Oh, Susie Q, oh, Susie Q,
Oh, Susie Q, piggie I love you, Susie Q.

I like the way you kiss, I like the way you kiss,
I like the way you kiss Pauly on the lips, Susie Q

Oh, Susie Q, oh, Susie Q,
Oh, Susie Q, piggie I love you, Susie Q.

Whew! I think you've all gone off the deep end! So while most of me is very sad that I didn't make it to IRI this year, there is a tiny part that is very relieved that I still have my sanity! :ahh: Was it something in the water or the air?

And, let's face it, the poor pig would be terrified. There is a line between harmless and not, I think that might approach the line.

Once again, Andy is my hero. I happen to like pigs.

Especially roasted.

Isn't a barrow a large pig with one wheel on the front end, used for cleaning up the yard? And I thought a gilt is a miniature, gold-colored pig, soon to become all the rage as a pet for fashionable Hollywood celebrities... :)
