First guess is that it's a geiger counter.

I can't even figure out what number is there  It's probably just me though, I'm tired.

Guys,
This is an altimeter- a gauge that reads altitude. when you are freefalling when skydiving, aka falling from the sky at a fast rate of speed, you need to see how high you are above the ground, because you need a good amount of time to ensure the parachute opens. When me and henry went skydiving today they gave us one of these and told us when to pull....around 4000 feet (we started at 10000).

Brando

P.S. The team number is 254, it is the tiny little number towards the center of the gauge.

Pretty cool - but how is 254 related to you? Or vice-versa?

Also, glad you survived the fall to see the chute already open in that Pink zone... (Why anyone would voluntarily jump out of a perfectly good airplane, I'll never know.)

Yeah, it can always be made better... Though that statement really applies to helicopters.

254 is an active team number, as are these other numbers in the picture: 1, 4, 7, 11.

They don't show up as often on the national radar... Where are they hiding?
