Summer 08, is gone. Tomorrow we have orientation and on Monday, we go back to school. Teams such as 1261, 1771, and various other teams in Georgia will be heading back to school. Might I say it sure was fun. And I had a great time.

Now I prepare for the 08-09 season. As the fall approaches and so does the challenge of preparing new members for the FRC season. Not to mention the new FTC season.

But, I am disappointed in one thing, Battlefield Heroes was supposed to be released over the summer...and now they delayed it. :eek:

Yeah this summer kinda flew by. I've got two days of work left, next week off, then move into my dorm on the 16th. I can't wait! Obviously my parents are having mixed feelings about leaving the house, especailly since I keep everything electronic running. But that is what younger sibilings are for anyway.

I'm really looking forward to the fall though, because that means the Robot Rumble at the state fair is coming up! And college is going to be a great experience for me to get out and meet new people, something I have become very accustomed to. I'm kinda disappointed though because I never got to go to the beach this summer and I missed our family reunion because of work. But I've supplimented that with other things that have made this summer almost compareable to the one two years ago when I got to spend three whole weeks in New Zealand with my grandma.

Summer's still technically going for me until the 25th, but band camp started yesterday... for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. So summer's over.

But I don't get to see our robot again until the 25th...

Meh I really never had a summer as I took summer school so I can take an extra engineering course. :D

This year has definitely flew by.
I heard it when I was younger and I'm starting to notice it now, as you get older the faster time seems to go. ;)

I'm proud to brag that as a Canadian in Ontario my summer break is not over until mid-september thus I have lots of time to test the new FTC kit before summer's end.

UGH. I have to go back Monay. Crap. Sigh......this is totally not fair. I wish my district wasn't so, well, stupid. It's too early. Oh well. Time to go teach some nubes.

Its true... days fly by now, don't seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done.

One great thing about summer being over... means the start of football then hockey season. Not to mention hunting season! :D
