Karth, when you told me you were doing these, I was excited...

These are stunning!!! Whoever put this effort together for you guys really deserves a round of applause!

Congrats Simbots, and way to take the Superbowl of Smarts to the next level!

Wow, that's crazy awesome.

And I thought it was cool when someone on my team got the FIRST logo engraved on one side of his class ring... (well, that was cool, but it's nothing to this)

Well, again 1114 sets the standard for FIRST!

THIS IS SO AWESOME!

Congrats on a great robot, team, season and Championship.

P.S. I'm hoping someday Team 980 can earn one of these - with a yellow topaz stone and lightning bolts, of course!!

That is awesome!
Is that something FIRST did or your team?

Awesome! You guys really deserve that ring for your performance this year!

I only wish we could have played you guys on Einstein... but it wasn't in the cards. :(

Thanks, David. But to be fair, Team 987 really set the standard for Championship rings in 2007. (And possibly/probably others before them)

Who did you get these done by? Jostens? They look really nice.

Karthik- that's awesome!

I have the FIRST logo on my class ring, but nothing compares to this.

Great design! Great acknowlegement of your team's work, too.

Very, very nice. I hope that whoever made these happen is also offering their services to Team 842. It would be fitting that the Chairman's Award winning team for the year would also be able to acquire Championship CA rings.

Karthik,
Thanks for the recognition as a standard setter for Championship ring, but you are right...we can't take exclusive credit for the ring idea... previous threads have revealed prior models for other great FIRST rings...any way you look at it though, you guys had a great year and are well deserving of the awesome rings (love the logo inlay).
