Not to outdo ourselves, Team 1676 would like to announce two ancillary events just to add to the fun of the event.

For the students:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament, winner's prize to be determined

For the mentors/coaches:
Pie Eating Contest, winner receives trophy

Graham, please add the preceding to the list of special events and remove the word raffle.

Unfortunately, a raffle is not possible due to complications regarding school policy, but raffle tickets will be GIVEN away for a chance to win the LEGO Mindstorms kit. Details on the 18th.

Me, I am partial to Blueberry, so if anyone who's buying the pies reads this...

I just hope it's not - ugh - Rhubarb.

I think Apple is boring. Pecan is good, but OMG I'll probably gain another 20 pounds just thinking about it. Ditto shoofly - but this IS New Jersey...

mmmmmmm.........Pie

Cherry is my favorite. Pumpkin is good too, as is blueberry, and banana cream, and peach, and pecan, and lemon meringue, and coconut cream, and apple, and raspberry, and boysenberry, and mincemeat, and boston cream, and peanut butter, and chocolate moose...and most others.

Just like Vex experience with EasyC was directly transferable, so it this. The kit is worth more than the registration fee, and someone's leaving with it on the 18th.

how would someone go about winning this kit is it a raffle or some sort of competition.

All attending teams will receive "raffle" tickets at the start of the event and at a later point throughout the day the ticket number will be read and displayed and then that team will be able to recieve their prize.

Unfortunately, 1923 won't be able to make it. With so many of our students taking the PSAT the trip just isn't workable.

I'm sorry to miss out, I'm sure it'll be a great event.
