Indeed they were. Sucked that in our first match 1807 had problems and then in the second match 1228 was disabled on your alliance. That last match was epic though. Sorry we had to face each other. We'll play together in Philly though.

Forgot to mention it, but good luck to 75 and 303 in Chesapeake. I think 75 can pull off a regional win down there.

Hey!

I just wanna come in here for a sec to say major props to team 11. You guys were amazing alliance partners, and we all appreciate your help getting to the semis. The match reset thing was unfavorable, but we did our best.
Thanks to 1807 as well!

I know that our team has come a long way from last year, where we didn't go a single match without breaking down. At NJ we only had to make one minor repair the entire time.

Thanks to all the teams who participated, especially team 612, Chantilly robotics. Thanks for your help at DC and NJ. See you guys at VCU!

Thank you very much...we were looking forward to that Chairman's victory and almost thought we had it , until the MC started listing out all the other things you guys have done. You guys deserved it! Not to mention it was extremely fun, cheering against you down in the Mascot Pit (RED/BLUE ALLIANCE)!!!

To 2753, 1923, 2344: all i can say is I called it. The first practice match with 2344, I was amazed at the Pilot skill and at the design. 1923's robot amazed me when we went over to 103's field for a test run. 2753, what a rookie team. You are all about what NJ is. (A side note: Let it be known, I totally called a victory if 2753 and 1923 were allied)

To all the other teams, who won or didnt win awards, amazing job at one of the first regional. I'm so glad I joined FIRST, and had the opportunity to attend Jersey!!!

Good luck and see you all another time!!

Wow, I just realized that I never properly thanked our alliance captain and our alliance parter 1807.

422 you guys were great. We were disheartened during qualifying matches at our record of 2-5-0 but you guys did your scouting and we really appreciate it.

1807 what can I say, you guys were a complete steal! We were so excited and happy to be able to pick you. I remember your 2007 year and I think you're back at that level of competitiveness. I was extremely impressed. We definitely look forward to working with you this season and good luck at NYC! I know you can win that regional. Just go out there and do it.

There were a lot of teams that came out of the woodwork, thankfully, like team 11, but it seemed that scouting was unfortunately really poor at this regional, and a lot of GOOD teams got left behind, and some AMAZING teams were picked VERY late in the rotation. I think that we're going to try to request to hold a scouting workshop at the next kickoff event to try to help new (and even experienced) teams develop a simple scouting system to help them at both alliance selection AND during qualification matches.

I know this is a little off topic. But does anyone have video of Saturday afternoon? There's a certain part of the day that i'd like to get ahold of ;-)

Yea my team (team 1228) was really surprised that no one grabbed them in the first round of picking....regardless our last quarter finals match between team 11, 1807, 422 was really EPIC

also i would like to say that 816 and 75 were fun to work with because the 2 matches we played with them were all out insane

it was a pleasure to be in this regional and we made so many new friends

thanks to all:)

Ever wonder how many times different teams played at a certain Alliance Station during an event???
(Red 1, Red 2 & Red 3 or event the coveted Blue 1, Blue 2 & Blue 3?)
Now if you played in NJ this year, you can see that info here!

http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/2224?

I just used NJ as a test since I was actually there.
I have an actual use for this in some upcoming events.

Red always does better, blue is never fun. Especially when you go 2 rounds of playoffs on the red side and have to switch .
