It will be great to see our next-door neighbors 1672 there, and !Woo Hoo! another team from the great white north! Coming down for the warm weather I suppose.

It's gonna be a good one this year, you watch...

Will you guys be back in shape for next year? Let us all know, I'm sure we can work something out to help your team.

Team 2016 is pleased to announce that we will be giving out $200.00 gift certificates for AndyMark products as prizes for our First Annual Eyeglass and Hearing Aid Drive. We will award one certificate to the team that brings in the most items at the New Jersey Regional this February.

AndyMark, Inc. is an official supplier of parts for F.I.R.S.T. teams. We felt that any team could benefit from being able to order spare, upgrade, or replacement parts and AndyMark agreed!

As representatives of Ewing High School and Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf, we take great pride in working with the Lions Club International at their New Jersey Regional Eyeglass Recycling Center. This is one of only seven such centers in America, and our students are involved with processing glasses here on our campus as part of our ongoing Community Service Projects.

Please help us get students involved in collecting unused eyeglasses and hearing aids in their own schools and donating them for this worthy cause.

Thanks for any help you can give us. As this is our first time, we are still working the kinks out. We were posted in the user announcements section of the portal, but didn't seem to get any interest. :) :) :)

If any mentors want an escape from the craziness of the NJ Regional on Friday night, legendary singer & Vegas regular Tom Jones is performing kinda nearby in Asbury Park, NJ!

I am actually considering going to this show if I make it down to the NJ Regional this year, since I'll more than likely drive in Friday night & come down Saturday for the competition if I go! lol :yikes:

For the purpose of scouting I think it'd be cool if teams posted up a picture and some basic specs in this thread. This is in no way mandatory or anything like that, it's just a nice thing to do to make everyone's scouting a bit easier. I'll have a pic up of our final bot in the next day or two.
