[FTC]: [FTC]: The Ramp

Has any one noticed how that little piece of metal that keeps the ramp from returning to far take up a half-inch?

Doesnt it technically make the ramp into a 17.5x18 inch platform?

Do you think this was an engineering flaw or just another challenge built into the field?
