Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby: "I'm not dead yet!"
Billfred: "No, but you will be."
Libby: "I'm getting better!"
Billfred: "Shut up. You'll be gone in a few minutes."
Libby: "Not if you can't close the box."
Billfred: "Stick to the script, will you? You're supposed to say, 'I think I'll take a walk now'."
Libby: "Can't we just go to the line about cutting down a tree with a herring?"
Billfred: "No, we need to nail down this scene first. Can't film out of order, you know. Now, are you going to say your line, or am I going to proceed a few lines?"

[not an entry]My Aero team once had one of our members hide in our wing box. Reportedly, one of the team leaders was scared speechless when he opened the box to look for a tape measure...[/not an entry]

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby wanted to get to the next competition quickly, only to be removed by the people loading the semitruck who wanted to get the field into the box.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Just as all roads lead to rome, all field shipping boxes travel to parts for the 2009 field.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Here we see the sad effects of the wall street woes and the high cost of air travel: FIRST volunteers are being forced to travel by truck. Libby, after a recent visit to Tampa, emerged with an unexplained craving for sardines.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby took Miss Daisy's "Team in a Box" program a bit too literally.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby " I know that I said I needed to make a case to go to the next event but this isn't quite what I meant."

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby, I know airfare is ridiculously expensive right now, but that doesn't mean you can sneak onto the plane in fly home in that thing!

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby Kamen -

Famous? Yup, has a ring to it.

Emcee pipes? Absolutely.

Thinking outside the box? Fail.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

A Kamen is now standard in every off season field set up :)

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Ever wonder why you keep seeing the same faces at all the evetns you attend?

ZakuAce 28-10-2008 18:55

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Unsuspecting person: Why is there a crank on that box?
person 2: I don't know. Turn it.
(insert clown music here)
*POP*
(door opens and libby jumps up)
both persons: HOLY CRAP!
Thats right folks. Want to play a joke on your FIRST friends? Get yourself a "Libby in the Box"

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Fortunately for the GDC, the 2009 game piece was actually easier to transport than before thought.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Dean: Libby? What are you doing in there?
Libby: Dave Lavery asked me to pose for a picture. He didn't say why.

Karibou 28-10-2008 20:48

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby: "Can you close the box now? Apparently I was such a good MC, all the off-season events and the 2009 regionals want me, and they won't leave me alone. Do you think they would look in here?"

GaryVoshol 28-10-2008 22:20

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

When Libby couldn't get a tent ( http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/29080 ) she picked the next best spot to snooze.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Announcer: FIRST teams, are you tired of training a new student only to have them leave 4 years later? Don't you want a student to be fluent in all aspects of the build?
Well AndyMark (TM) is proud to introduce the 'Student in a Box'. That's right, you can get a fully assembled, fully qualified student android **.
You save money because they don't need to be fed. You just plug them into any 110 AC outlet.

** You can request an unassembled student if you want to save more money **

The MC the most important "part" of every competition.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #225

Libby is seen here actively rebelling against her uncle's advice to "think outside the box".
