Looking for Team
Hello All!
I'm back from several years of working overseas in Dubai City, Dubai. What a wonderful city, so much innovation! I'm looking for a team now in the Tennessee,Kentucky,Western North Carolina area that needs a very smart engineery person. Are there any teams on here that need anybody? Smiley face |

Re: Looking for Teem
Hello sejeff, you might find success in this forum, but to find a team in your area, use this link: http://www.usfirst.org/whatsgoingon.aspx .
And welcome back to FIRST. |
Re: Looking for Team
Glad to see someone looking into such an under served area of the country. Looking at the maps, you know the pickings are slim in that area. I used to teach in Waynesville, NC before moving to VA so i know the area fairly well. The team farthest west in NC is out of Brevard ,but i don't see them on the list for this year. The team farthest east in TN is 2393 out of Knoxville. Southern Appalachia is not very well represented in FRC. Maybe you could start a team?

Re: Looking for Team
If there is no FRC team inyour area, check to see if there is a VEX or FTC team around - both of these could use help and are a good stepping stone to a future, new FRC. You can use the link already cited above for FTC - don't know how you would find a VEX team however.

Re: Looking for Team
http://www.mentorsearch.us/team this also works for finding FRC teams
In terms of finding FTC and VEX teams , I would look at the competition map and see which competitions are in your area, you can than ask the director for a listing of teams attending the event. http://www.mentorsearch.us/node/30 |
