That is why they did the cell phone thing. It is in my instructions...

It appears that most of the Palmetto Links on the USFIRST site are broken:

I know there is no information to post yet (9:45 am Thursday) but for the other regionals they have placeholder web pages. Only for Palmetto do you see a "Not Found" message.

^is loving having internet while sitting watching practice matches at Palmetto.

My only question is...if Clemson has a wireless network, why does FIRST not allow teams to have them? Or is there not a rule against them this year?

Any chance they need to test the webcast when the emcee's are practicing, and some teams from, say, Georgia and South Carolina, all happen to be practicing?

Not going to be there, but would love to watch "practice".

From the FIRST people:
"The links are not broken, there just aren't any pages available to view yet. The placeholder pages may not have been uploaded due to an internet issue at the venue, but they will be up when the matches begin."

Yay! The webcast is up!

I'm super excited about watching all the teams I met at Peachtree, specifically 2415, 1771, 1776, and 1261 (speaking of which just won the first match). I'm rooting for all you guys, and hope to see you in Atlanta.

It was a great day 1! Personally, I'm very impressed with the driving of 801, you're awesome. Of course, the usual suspects are impressive (342, 343 and many other SC teams), and 425 is a pretty cool surprise, love the hats. If the standings remain similar to the overnight, should be very interesting selections. Thanks to Uncle Jake's BBQ for some free food out front!

I can't tell you how jealous I am of you guys. :( I'm sitting here in NC being bored when everyone is there.

And why was the Peachtree team social canceled? When I was watching the Webcast last night, they are like "Team Social at 6:00", my jealousy level went up by 10 points.

Very exciting matches, a lot of unexpected outcomes. Can't wait to see the picking and finals.

Congratulations to 1676 and to all the winners! After watching 1771 and 2415 at Peachtree, I'm glad they get to be at Championships.

@Ben: I get the feeling the Peachtree social didn't happen because of the economy, but I'm not sure on that.
