Will 3ds Max 2009 run on "regular" Windows XP?

Is anyone running 3ds Max 2009 "regular" Windows XP?

Autodesk says it requires XP Professional or Vista: System Requirements

By "Regular" i'm guessing you mean Windows Home Edition. I don't think I've seen it run on anything other then Windows Professinal.

I thought we used to run it on just XP home edition -- but I might be wrong. Might be worth downloading the free 30 day trial version to see if it works. If not, you're not out anything except the download time.
