Did it ever occur to anyone that the reason we have the new super-resistant controller was for the use in this game.Besides the fact the old ones we becomming out of date, why would we need one that was even military-destruction proof. I could be wrong about this, but it seems to me that the board might have been the first clue. I think this game may be water based in some way, or possibly like ive seen in the older posts that it could deal with a tough terrain

I was looking at Dave's signatures and noticed his comments went up to 6, correlating with the number of sides on dice, and seemed to favor 4, 5 and 6. This would be a nice use of the camera for pattern and/or dot recognition. And keeping with the "fishing" concept, lets play "ship captain and crew", a dice game that requires you to get a 6, 5 and 4 in that order. Maybe we could use the camera to figure out how to turn the dice to the right orientation and then place them on a "ship" which we could then fill with "fish" (Or something along those lines).
not to mention, with the description of the game posted a little further down, the mention of the ship. if i remember correctly, one of the posts said that the 'moonfish' on finding nemo turned into a boat or ship, right?

i was fiddling around the 'net for a bit myself and toying with that 'one fish two fish red fish blue fish' thing. got these

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Fis...Fish_Blue_Fish

"multicolour Fluorescent In-Situ Hybridization (FISH) was subtitled "One FISH two FISH red FISH blue FISH"."

http://www.microscopyu.com/articles/...nerinsitu.html

mentions increased accuracy and things like that... i have no idea :P but maybe someone can come up with something? you never know.

also, on that anagram topic... some stuff i found from the fish's names

lots about jokes and scales
Joke scaled Had Rum
Joke scaled Hard Um
Joke scaled Hard Mu
Joke scaled Dram Uh
Joke scaled Rad Hum
Joke scaled Ha Drum
Joke scaled Ah Drum
Joke scaled Rah Mud
Joke scaled Mar Duh
Joke scaled Arm Duh
Joke scaled Ram Duh

some about area edits
Area Edit Most
Area Edit Mots
Area Edit Toms

"Impaired Lad" supports the lack of vision idea

"Grasp Mutual $@#$@#$@#$@#" - just found that amusing but you never know, it could come to something
EDIT: woops, it censors that word.

...again i don't see how this would mean anything, but i found it interesting, and if it did somehow mean something that would be great too

i dont htink tht has anything to do with it noah i think its the way that the fish moves... it can only move vertically

I really agree with you!!! Why in the world would we need all that if the game WASNt gonna be really dangerous. I dont think its gonna be a water-based game but maybe HDPE (very slippery stuff) that has been used in previous games.

If you flip the image horizontally and change around the brightness and contrast a little, you can start to read what it says in the background. I'm having a hard time reading it because the words are kind of grainy. Also, there is a picture in the background that is half blocked by the fish. I'm trying the figure out what exactly that is.

I think that the fish actually has little to do with the clue. I could be wrong, but I think that it is there as a distraction from what is hidden in the back.

Tehy determined a loooong time ago that the picture was scanned and that the text in the background was the text on the next page. Theres also a fish on the next page. Then they went on to find a PDF copy of the book itself. This ruled out any FIRST hidden message within the image.

I have done some photoshoping around and found the words, "Deeply Forked" in the background!

Still trying.

Nothing has been ruled out, as we do not know what the game is ... yet.

Just because the background image is bleedthru from the next page in the book does not eliminate it as being part of the clue ... unless you know something you're not telling us
