If folks need FTP info to upload video to The Blue Alliance, shoot me a PM.

Will do. I've gotta parse everything first, once I receive the footage from Team 48, whom I must thank for providing the Buckeye Regional's webcast.

So do we have a set format/config, or is it just whatever we choose?

Re: Archiving Regionals Video 2009

This is slightly off-topic, but is something I noticed while watching some video from the past week.

On the videos form Oklahoma the "scoring bar" at the bottom of the screen is somewhat transparent. I don't know how this looked on the big screen at the event, but it makes the team numbers much more difficult to see than if the bar is solid like the BAE videos.

I don't really feel that the transparency adds anything so I would recommend talking to the video guys if you see that they are using transparency on the score bar.

I captured DC, have almost finished editing it, and should be posting it in the next few days.

Does anyone know the status of the Midwest regional videos? The Semis-Finals are up but there is nothing else.

It appears that they are in the process of getting posted. I see the WMV files for the rest of the elims and some of the quals on the TBA servers.

lol, I received the Buckeye videos in FLV format, so don't expect them anytime soon. :p Huge thanks to Team 48 for archiving/streaming the regional, though.

You could upload what video you have and others could rip and convert it.

Re: Archiving Regionals Video 2009

The method i use to parse the videos works just fine with FLV so I can take a crack at them if you want. Not sure how much time I'll have to work on them tomorrow, but I could probably get through them on Thursday or Friday at the latest.
