I had mine set on medium quality and I used a 4GB thumb drive. I saved everything off during lunch and at the end of the night. Mornings usually took 1.7GB afternoon and awards took about 2.7GB. So total you're only looking at about 9GB. I used the medium quality so I didn't need to deinterlace the video to view on a computer ( I think thats how it went)

I'm told NJ should be appearing sometime this week. Also told quite a few people were recording Philly, any word on this being true?

Keep in mind that the Pinnacle Video Transfer will stop recording a file when it reaches about 3.2 GB (or ~6 hours in medium quality), write it to disk, then resume recording. I did not know that, and as a result, missed Qualification Match 34 on VCU. Everything else was recorded, including awards. I'll begin parsing it when we get back home (end of the week).

During lunch and after awards I took mine and saved off the files. The closest I came was 2.7GB on saturday. I also ran a DVD recorder just in case.

Looks like they posted the eliminations for florida here
I wonder if someone can chop these up and put them on TBA?

Likely never. The person who everyone thought was going to record the Midwest matches never showed up. Someone else managed to record some of the matches off the webcast, but I believe whatever matches they got are already up on TBA.

I'll do them then... but if anyone else is already doing it and reads this thread, please let me know kind of soon so I don't spend too much time doing something unnecessary.

Re: Archiving Regionals Video 2009

Does anyone else notice this year we have many fewer regionals archived than we did last year at this time? After 4 weeks there are only 8 regionals Archived (Lansing is available here firstvideoarchive.com).

Are people having issues getting video online or parsing. Either way please post if you are having problems. Many teams use these videos for fund raising and showing parents what FIRST is all about.
