Inside the early ship control system is a brightly colored piece of paper that tells you how and where to download the update. It is also linked to on http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc....aspx?id=10934 - LabVIEW FRC software update at NI to be used to update software from the FRC DVD provided in the new control system kit

You probably have it but just can't see it yet.
It comes as part of the FRCLabVIEWUpdate1.0.zip Update at: http://www.usfirst.org/frccontrolsystem

After you install the update that missing file will automatically appear in the FRC cRIO Imaging Tool file selection window, but it's stored at:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\project\CRIO Tool\FRC Images

There is a toggle on your driver station that you can change between auto (autonomous) and not. Make sure you have it NOT on auto.

The blinking lights on the cRIO module in slot 8 just mean that the DS switch is set to "Auto"
The DS LCD screen should say: "Mode: autonomous"

Is the switch on the DS still set to Teleop?

When you get Mode on the DS back to teleoperated if the Jaguar and Victor lights are still blinking then I'd say it's a problem with the PWM cables connecting those speed controllers to the Digital sidecar.

Ah, but are they in PWM outputs 1 and 2? Several teams have mistakenly plugged their speed controller cables into Relay or Digital I/O pins instead.

They should be connected to the widely-spaced connectors having white friction-fit connector things at their sides. They should not be connected to anything that looks like the IFI system's PWM outputs.

That sounds like a good candidate for item 11 on Vince's list.
