"Battery: No Code" after uploading .out file to cRIO

I successful compile the SimpleTemplate and upload the .out file to the cRIO using the Wind River Workbench and the FIRST downloader inside the workbench. However, after restarting the cRIO, my program does not run and the driver station displays "Battery: No Code". What's going on?

Did you create a stand alone application from the template? If not, you will have to upload it each time you turn off the cRIO.

check under Project explorer, right click Build specification and select standalone application. This is from memory, folks can correct me if i'm wrong.
