Re: 2009 Colorado Regional
This is what the FIRST site has said:
"To ensure the safety of our teams, mentors, volunteers, and Denver University staff and contractors, FIRST will delay the Colorado Regional event until weather conditions improve. It is our intention to continue with the competition under a new schedule which will be posted here early tomorrow morning (Friday, March 27)." If i am reading this correctly the regional will be postponed untill the weather clears up. I guess this could turn out to be a very interesting regional if the teams end up having not time to practice on the field. |
Re: 2009 Colorado Regional
So to all the team members that were wishing for snow,
be careful what you wish for...... |
Re: 2009 Colorado Regional
Never heard of a Regional being snowed out before. It puts a lot of pressure on teams to get scouting info. Let's up the ante with twitter. Use hashtag #frcden and follow http://twitter.com/angelbot
You can get some scouting info on our bot at http://angelbot.thinkphysics.org Have a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy! |
Re: 2009 Colorado Regional
Well good luck getting to compete this year teams. 1986 isn't attending, but a sister school, 1987, is and we have been communicating back and forth.
Anyway, apparently the governor has issued a disaster declaration, activating the National Guard. Flight canceled, schools closed, and highways shut down. Have fun staying in your hotel rooms! Maybe this will give you guys a chance to do some swimming if you have an indoor pool lol. |
